Here's an interesting tag I found on Allison's blog... Basically all you have to do is name 12 characters ( They can be real people, you just have to know their story), and then answer the questions.

1. Hercule Poirot(A character of many Agatha Christie books)
2. Elizabeth Bennet (From Pride and Prejudice)
3. Mr. Darcy (From Pride and Prejudice)
4. Anne Shirley (From Anne of Green Gables)
5. Jim(From The adventures of Huckleberry Finn)
6. The Mad Hatter(From Alice's adventures in Wonderland)
7. Fred Weasley(From Harry Potter)
8. Jo March( From Little Women)
9. Eleanore Dashwood(From Sense and Sensibility)
10. Charles Wallas Murrey(From A wrinkle in Time)
11. Gilbert Blythe(From Anne of Green Gables)
12. Sherlock Holmes(The character of Sir Arther Conan Doyle)

1. Who would make a better collage prof, 6 (The Mad Hatter) or 11 (Gilbert Blythe) ?
Well, though I am SURE that the hatter would doubtlessly make a very INTERESTING professor, I think Mr. Blythe, being the smart doctor that he is, would be the better choice.

2. Do you think #2(Elizabeth Bennet) is nice?
Lizzie?! Sure! However, I think she is a bit judge-mental, and more than a little prideful

3. 12 (Sherlock Holmes) sends 8 (Jo March) out on a mission. What is it? Does it succeed?
Holmes, taken up whole-heartedly in some fascinating mystery case involving a missing blue carbluncle,(or something of that sort) sends Miss March on a mission to investigate a suspect. Miss March begins to inform him that she would be more than happy to do it(with the occasional cry of "Christopher Columbus!") but is interupted by her sister, Meg, who whispers in her ear that it isn't proper for young ladies to go galavanting off all over the country.

4. What is or what would be 9's (Eleanore Dashwood) favorite book?

Something sensable, with a moral and a happy ending.

5. Would it make more sense for 2 (Elizabeth Bennet) to swear loyalty to 6 (The mad hatter), or the other way around?
Miss Lizzie would NEVER swear loyalty to anyone, of that I am sure! I think the Hatter would swear it, and then, in his maddened state, might forget all about it, and start taking charge!

6. For some reason, 5 (Jim) is looking for a roommate. Should (s)he room with 9 (Eleanore Dashwood) or 10 ( Charles Wallas Murrey)?

It would be totally inappropriate for Eleanore to room with a man, even a kind man like Jim, but Charles, being only 7 years old, wouldn't be a great choice, either. I suggest Jim move back in with his mother.

7. 3 ( Mr. Darcy) , 7 (Fred Weasley) and 12 (Sherlock Holmes ) are going out to dinner. Where do they go and what do they discuss?
They would definitely go somewhere upper-class, but Mr. Darcy wouldn't enjoy a moment of it, because Fred would spend the whole night joking around, and Mr. Holmes, if he shows up at all, would either be too wrapped up in his current case, or high on opium(it's no lie. The man was a drug addict!) They wouldn't discuss anything in particular, seeing as Darcy isn't one for conversation, and he is too disgusted to speak to Fred at any rate.

8. #3 (Mr. Darcy) challenges #10 (Charles Wallas Murrey) to a duel, who wins?
Well, Darcy is bigger and older than Charles, but Charles is a boy genius. however, I think Darcy wins.(Charles is too small to even lift his sword)

9. If 1 (Hercule Poirot) stole 8's (Jo March) most precious possession, how would (s)he get it back?
She could get it back one of two ways: (1) Poirot leads her on a mystery hunt, where, if she solves the mystery, she gets the possession back, or Jo merely fights him for it!!

10. If # 5 (Jim) and # 2 (Elizabeth Bennett) wrote a book together, what would the book be about?
I don't know that it could be about much, seeing as Jim can't read or write. Maybe he could draw the pictures. However, Elizabeth could write it about annoying families, and put in a little bit about Jim's life as a slave. That would take it from annoying families, to being a part of a slave family.

11. What kind of plot device would you have to use if you wanted 1 (Hercule Poirot) and 4 (Anne Shirley) to work together?
Hercule Poirot is very good with people, and has quite the flair for the dramatic, and, seeing as that is all Anne ever thinks about, I don't think I would have any trouble getting them to work together!

12. If 7 (Fred Weasley) visited you for the weekend, how would it go?
Oh, this would be GREAT!!! Though, I'm sure that, after awhile, his constant goofing off might get a little annoying after awhile. But, until then, I can totally see this being a fun weekend!

13. If you could command 3 (Mr. Darcy) to perform any service or task for you, what would it be? I would probably say "Give me your house!!!!". I ♥ Pemberly.

14. Does 11 (Gilbert Blythe) like to write or draw?
I have the feeling he is a terrible artist, but he may have a touch of author in him!

15. If 2 (Elizabeth Bennett) had to choose sides between 4 (Anne Shirley) and 5 (Jim), what side would (s)he choose?
I think Anne's ramblings of "Tall, dark and melencholly men" would make for a very loos friendship, and, seeing as Jim is very kind, and sensible for an unlearned man, she would take his side.

16. What might 6 (The mad Hatter) shout out while charging into battle?
Heaven only knows what he would say!!

17. If you had to choose a song to best describe 8 (Jo March), what would it be?
"I am woman, hear me roar!" (Some song from the 70's that my mom knows!)

18. What would 5 (Jim) most likely be arrested for?

Running away from his master.

19. If 11 (Gilbert Blythe) and 9 (Eleanore Dashwood) were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Gilbert is too much of a gentleman to race a girl(unless it's Anne, of course!) and Eleanore is too lady like to do such things as RUN! But if they were to do it anyway, overlooking all the social rules they would be breaking, Gilbert would beat Eleanore's BUTT!

20. What is the lowest point of 1's (Hercule Poirot) story?
The man can't speak proper English! How embarrassing is that?!

21. 1 (Hercule Poirot) and 9 (Eleanore Dashwood) reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's (Anne Shirley's) sinister secret organization. 11 (Gilbert Blythe) volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that s/he is actually a spy for 4 (Anne Shirley). Meanwhile, 4 (Anne Shirley) has kidnapped 12 (Sherlock Holmes) in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5 (Jim), they seek out 3 (Mr. Darcy), who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?

"Most unlikely of partners" OR "Yet another World War" (because Poirot is from Belgum, Dashwood, Holmes and Darcy from England, Shirley and Blythe from Canada, and Jim is from America)

Well, that was fun! Please feel free to take this, and I can't wait to read what you all get!!!

  2. okay waaait. Sherlock Holmes, a drug addict? He's a FICTIONAL CHARACTER!!! He was MADE UP by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. How can he be a drug addict? Explain, please....

  3. Just because Sherlock Holmes wasn't real doesn't mean he didn't have his problems. Some confusion may be in WHICH Holmes mysteries you have read. This information isn't in any of the short stories, like "The blue carbuncle", or "The red-headed league". You'd have to read the other books. He was a great detective, and yes, a drug addict. If you don't believe me, look it up. Though, back when this was written, it wasn't as dreadful to smoke opium, or tobacco, for that matter, which people were openly smoking until the mid 1960's!
